Luckily, there is a good urban area generally halfway between their homes and we invited them to meet us there for lunch.
Our parents live over an hour away from each other so they don’t often get together. This allowed a good amount of time in order to schedule a later lunch with both the Husband’s parents and mine. It was great and relaxing and the perfect weather for such a trip! In order to get as much time as possible with friends and family, I planned a return flight for Sunday evening. This weekend, the Husband and I headed to Northern Virginia to see some of our good friends and to go tubing down the Shenandoah River, an annual summer tradition with them.
